Cancellation & Refunds
We want you to keep paying for Fourthsight because it's useful — not because cancellation is painful. This page explains how to cancel and the situations in which we issue refunds.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing portal in your account settings (Settings → Billing → Manage subscription), which opens our Stripe-hosted customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full paid access until that date. No further charges are made after the period ends.
If you cannot reach the portal for any reason, email support@fourthsight.ca from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you.
Refunds — when we issue them
Fourthsight is a digital subscription with no contract or commitment beyond the current month. Because access is delivered immediately and you can cancel future renewals at any time, we do not generally offer refunds for the month already in progress. However, we will issue a full or pro-rated refund in the following situations:
- Accidental renewal within 7 days. If you forgot to cancel and the subscription auto-renewed within the last 7 days, and you have not made meaningful use of the Service in that period, email us and we will refund the renewal in full.
- Duplicate or unrecognized charges. Full refund, no questions asked. Contact us with the Stripe receipt and we will reverse the charge.
- Service outage. If the Service was substantially unavailable for an extended period in a billing month, we will issue a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.
- Mandatory consumer-protection law. If the law in your jurisdiction grants you a stronger refund right than this policy (for example, a statutory cooling-off period), that law prevails and we will honour it.
What is not refundable
- Past months in which the Service was available and you had access to your account, beyond the 7-day window above.
- Losses or unrealized gains you attribute to acting on predictions. Fourthsight is an analytics product; we make no guarantee of outcomes and bear no responsibility for wagers placed with third parties.
- Account suspensions resulting from a breach of our Terms of Service.
How to request a refund
Email support@fourthsight.ca from the address on your account with:
- the Stripe receipt number (we'll send one to your email at every renewal); and
- a one-line reason.
We aim to respond within 2 business days and to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first — almost everything can be resolved faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending review.
