Privacy Policy

Fourthsight is a sole-proprietor business operated from Ontario, Canada. For any privacy-related inquiry, contact privacy@fourthsight.ca.

Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (managed by Supabase Auth). If you sign in through a third-party provider, we receive your email and a stable identifier from that provider.

Subscription & billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We receive and store the Stripe customer ID, subscription status, current plan, renewal date, and the last four digits of the card so we can show it back to you.

Product activity. Games you follow, push notification preferences, and pages you view are recorded so the app can show your follow list, deliver result notifications, and so we can measure feature usage in aggregate.

Technical data. Server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) collected by Vercel and our application for security and debugging, typically retained for 30 days.

We do not collect: precise location, contacts, microphone or camera input, payment card numbers, or government identification.

To operate the service (authenticate you, deliver predictions, manage your subscription), to send transactional emails (welcome, payment receipts, renewal notices, password resets), to prevent abuse and fraud, and to improve the product through aggregate, de-identified analytics. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for behavioural advertising.

We share the minimum data required with the following processors, each bound by their own privacy commitments:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel — web hosting, edge network, and request logging.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Anthropic — AI inference for the prediction engine. We do not send your personal information to the model; only sports data goes to inference.
• Resend (or equivalent) — transactional email delivery.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.

We use first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication (session token) and to remember your preferences. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use any cross-site behavioural tracking.

Account and subscription data are retained for as long as your account is active. Server logs are retained for ~30 days. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account, or by emailing privacy@fourthsight.ca), we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records of past payments).

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Canadian users have rights under PIPEDA; EU/UK users have rights under the GDPR (including the right to object and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority); California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. To exercise any of these, email privacy@fourthsight.ca from the address on your account and we will respond within 30 days.

Our service providers operate in Canada, the United States, and the European Union. By using Fourthsight you consent to your data being processed in those jurisdictions under the safeguards offered by each provider (Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).

Fourthsight is not directed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, email privacy@fourthsight.ca and we will delete it.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is limited to the operator on a need-to-know basis. We will notify affected users without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach that poses a risk to them.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers and posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
